1302.10 Issue Classification Notations [R-2]
See MPEP § 903.07, § 903.07(b) and § 903.09 for notations to be applied in the issuing classification boxes on the face of the file wrapper, or on the blue issue classification slip for series 08/ and earlier applications>, or if the application is an IFW application, on the Issue Classification sheet<.
In all reissue applications, the number of the original patent which is being reissued should be placed in the box provided therefor below the box for the applicant's name.
